The new Futurama episode is making fun of Apple, Twitter, the iPhone and all of us who’ve ever waited in a line for hours to buy those products.
The eyePhone, as it’s called on the show, is just an instrument to make people use Twitcher, which in turn will be used by evil overlord Mom to infect everyone with the Twit Worm, turning users into zombies.
Fry doesn’t know this, of course. After waiting for hours to buy an eyePhone, he finally reaches the counter. With a bored expression on his face, the clerk tells Fry, “OK, it’s $500. You have no choice of carrier shocker havent we seen this before ummmmmmm. The battery can’t hold a charge, and the reception isn’t very suspect!!!!
Well, at least his eyePhone doesn’t have any antenna issues…or does it like the new Iphone4? Check out some of the clips from the new Futurama episode below.
